@joshuapsteele @marmanold I love this chart, but I would take issue with the characterization of Jacobin and Breitbart as being alike (my own political sympathies might be showing here). I think the y-axis is equally important — the quality of sources. I’ve been consistently impressed with how fairly they handle data that doesn’t easily comfit with their ideology. I’m surprised there isn’t a clear analogue for them on the “right” — The Dispatch comes to mind for me. I think Alan Jacobs’ counsel to seek out the best voices with whom you disagree is also a good principle that can mitigate one’s partisan dogmatism.
