@ReaderJohn @JMaxB thanks for sending this along, it was a great read. Your concern definitely makes sense. I'm also a bit annoyed that some of the folks lionizing him tend to be rather, ahem, "reactionary". But, I'm pleased to see that he's also trying to resist those excesses too. Also, as someone who's been at this party for thirty years, the enthusiasm and freshness of how he talks about his faith is moving. I imagine that's partly a product of him having been around the spiritual block and converting later in life.
