@toddgrotenhuis you make a great point, and I honestly wondered the same thing. I guess I liked it as a personal essay — just one guy's experience, which I enjoy reading sometime. The ending of it was especially jarring, and prompted me to ask the same question about writing on the internet in general — is it all bullshit, including my own? That's something I've honestly been struggling with. To your point though, it definitely did not teach me anything new, and I'm trying to actually be more discerning with my internet reading and sharing in that way. cc @JMaxB
